Jerred was a public high school photography teacher for 18 years and also co-owned a portrait photography business with his wife, before becoming a full-time professional nature photographer in 2020.
He has over 20 years of photography experience and is a skilled graphic designer. His skill at photo-editing and contagious enthusiasm are his not-so-secret weapons. He loves sharing the beauty he finds in the world so others can enjoy the soothing magic of nature too.
You can often find Jerred exploring backroads with his wife and son, editing photos with a cat in his lap, making YouTube videos about photography, or motivating friends and former students to live their dreams. Jerred also enjoys traveling across the country listening to true crime podcasts as he explores communities, taking photographs for special projects and clients.
